Serious Game Design Masterclass Course
Are you Serious about Game Design? How do you design games to solve real-world problems?
This is a College level course in Game Design. Students follow both online lectures, with weekly live sessions with the instructor. The focus is on Serious Game Design. This course takes students through the various Game Design models, Behavioural Psychology Theory, Interface Design, and more. No programming knowledge is needed for this course.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Gabriel McIntyre, better known as Gabe Mac, is an experienced Interactive Performance, New Media and Game Design instructor, with over 20 years of teaching experience at various colleges in Europe. In the game industry, Gabe has worked on numerous projects for clients such as Guerrilla Games, Davilex, T-Mobile and Microsoft, spanning a wide range of game genres including interactive board games, mobile games, platform games, flash mobs, and alternate reality games.
Gabe is a renowned speaker and has given keynote speeches on innovation, marketing, digital trends, and gamification at conferences worldwide, including DLD (Munich), SIME (Vienna), Picnic (Amsterdam), Le Web (Paris), DMEXCO (Berlin), Webcom (Montreal), La Red Innova (Madrid), and The Monaco Media Forum (Monaco). He has also been interviewed by prestigious publications such as Forbes Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, BBC and The Telegraaf, for his insights on new media trends.
Gabe was previously the Head of Innovation at Indie Amsterdam, where his campaigns won several digital and advertising awards. Early in his career, he became known in Europe as a Viral Video and New Media specialist for his innovative work on video blog projects such as Xolo.tv and Mobuzz.tv.
Currently, Gabe is travelling the world with Little Lebowski, teaching organizations, governments, students, and artists how to change the world through serious game design. His extensive experience in the game industry and expertise in new media make him a valuable asset to any project he is involved in.
